Casey Steed: Trusted Voice, Proven Advocate

Casey Steed is a respected broadcaster, civic leader, and advocate for Merced County. As host of Merced’s Six O’Clock News on KYOS 1480 AM/107.3 FM, Casey brings clarity and conviction to the issues that matter most—public safety, local government, and community empowerment.

A former candidate for Merced City Council District 4, Casey has never shied away from stepping into the arena. His campaign emphasized transparency, neighborhood revitalization, and a return to common-sense leadership. Whether on the ballot or behind the mic, Casey remains a tireless voice for Merced families and taxpayers.

In 2025, Casey served as host and emcee for the Reagan/Trump Freedom Gala, a celebration of enduring conservative values. He also energized the crowd at the Vin Kruttiventi Save California Rally, helping amplify the call for bold reform and grassroots renewal across the state.

Through his radio platform, podcasting, and public appearances, Casey continues to inform, inspire, and mobilize. His work reflects a deep commitment to restoring California’s promise—one conversation, one community, one cause at a time.

“In my opinion, Casey is incredibly knowledgeable about local, state, and federal political issues. He understands the concerns of Merced County farmers and brings common-sense clarity to our region. As a radio show host, I believe he is the most talented voice in the Central Valley.”Gene Durward Johnson Jr., President of the Merced County Republican Assembly
